Reference to the male figure as well as stone, the material that became central to unlock the spiritual and metaphorical meaning of Taylor’s work, has been crystalized in a delicately finished piece.
According to Freschi (2020:1) in an article titled, The Fragility of Objecthood, “the power of Taylor’s Momentary Permanence lies in the subtle dialogue that it proposes between the figurative and the metaphorical, the material and the spiritual, the id and the super-ego.
