Meyer is regarded as the leading figure in the Hyper-Realist movement in Southern Africa and has created a number of incredible works in the genres of landscape, portraiture and narrative art, and throughout his illustrious career he has travelled extensively to paint and to exhibit his works across the United States, Europe and locally, in South Africa. He has worked with many other prominent international figures, including renowned concert pianist Vladimir Horowitz, Paul Allan of Microsoft, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
